An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic staff nurses to join our team in Children Services at Ysbyty Gwynedd. Our Children's ward comprises of three areas, an acute inpatient ward, paediatric assessment unit and an elective day surgery and medical ward. We care for patients and their families from the ages of -yrs who require admission from a variety of specialities such as oncology, haematology, epilepsy, diabetes, safeguarding, CAMHS, ENT, general surgery.

We work closely with our tertiary centres to provide optimal care for our children, young people and families. We provide care for acutely unwell children requiring High Dependency care as well as resuscitation and stabilisation.

Main duties of the job

The provision of high quality nursing care to Children, Young people and their families.

To assess, plan, implement and evaluate care provided.

To care for patients and their families from the ages of -yrs who require admission from a variety of specialities such as oncology, haematology, epilepsy, diabetes, safeguarding, CAMHS, ENT, general surgery. 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
