We are looking for someone with experience as a Project Engineer or Site Manager to join our Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) team.

What you'll do

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

the day-to-day management of four or more installation teams, including Electrical Supervisors, Electricians and Mates managing installations, liaising with the Install Planner and being the point of contact for all PSTN installations raising process risk assessments, booking operational attendance, requesting site access, and responding to reactive requests reviewing site designs and the production of suitable CDM documentation, including Short Form Construction Phase Plans, Commissioning Plans, Automation Test Records and other site documentation the procurement of relevant equipment, including electrical sundries, cabling, mounting brackets, and any other items required by the Installation teams running meetings with the control room, local operations teams and build teams to ensure communication is clear across the company reporting progress, successes and issues to the Project Manager.

What you'll need

You will need:

a degree in a relevant engineering field (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, etc) is preferred but not mandatory to be working towards or have achieved professional registration with a recognised engineering council/body experience in managing people or teams and ensuring standards of installations and deadlines are met electrical installation experience, and the ability to come up with on-the-spot solutions to ensure the installation goes ahead extensive experience following our procedures and processes, as well as the ability to build working relationships with operational staff a CITB SMSTS Certificate a proactive attitude and the ability to travel to site with little to no notice to provide technical support to installation crews.
