TLT are searching for an urgent Contract Internal Communications Manager to join the Marketing & Business Development Team. The role will be on an initial 3.5 month contract and will require office attendance in Bristol. The role will be paid on a day rate via an Umbrella Company. Candidates will need to be immediately available or have a 1-2 week notice period.

Main Responsibilities

As the Contract Internal Communications Manager your day-to-day remit includes:

  • Developing our internal communications strategy in partnership with the firm's Business Services Management team and the Head of Marketing & Communications.
  • Ensuring internal messaging supports delivery of the firm's strategy and is consistent with the firm's external communications.
  • Planning, editing and writing compelling content using appropriate media and channels for executive communications, major campaigns and change programmes.
  • Delivering firm wide internal events as part of the internal communications strategy and as required by the firm's senior leadership team across the firm's six offices.
  • Being a go to adviser for the firm on internal communications, working closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications and wider Business Services Management team to support and prioritise the needs of the business.
  • Ensuring the firm has clear governance and best practice guides & training in place to ensure effective, clear and consistent internal communication across the firm.
  • Identifying new and creative ways for the firm to communicate internally so that its wide range of busy professionals working across the UK are able to confidently deliver the firm's offer to clients.  Ensuring people across the firm have a strong voice by facilitating feedback and two-way communication.

  • 10+ years internal communications experience within a corporate environment.
  • A confident and persuasive communicator who can adapt their style for different channels and audiences.
  • A creative mind-set matched with an ability to deliver new initiatives in a complex corporate environment.
  • Able to research, write, produce and edit great content.
  • A strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Action-orientated and self-motivated.
  • Enthusiastic, confident, pro-active, persistent and robust.
  • Good organisational skills – able to multi-task, strong time management skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure and drive through tasks and projects to completion.
  • Good humoured and positive outlook.
  • Graduate or equivalent.
