AboutOur Client: Our client is a modern andpurposebuilt care home located in the suburbs of Dewsbury. Theyprovide highquality residential and nursing care catering tolongterm shortterm and respite needs with specialized careavailable for individuals with complex conditions such asAlzheimers and dementia. The home offers 40 ensuite rooms allowingresidents to personalize their space and feel at home. Additionallythere are day rooms a spacious dining area and outdoor spaces forresidents toenjoy.

JobResponsibilities:

  • Providehighquality nursing care to residents in accordance with theirindividual care plans and clinicalneeds.
  • Administermedication and treatments as prescribed ensuring accuratedocumentation and compliance with regulatorystandards.
  • Conductregular assessments and evaluations of residents health andwellbeing adapting care plans asnecessary.
  • Collaboratewith multidisciplinary teams including doctors therapists and carestaff to ensure coordinated and holistic caredelivery.
  • Maintainaccurate and uptodate medical records and documentation adhering toconfidentiality and data protectionregulations.
  • Fostera supportive and compassionate environment for residents promotingtheir dignity independence and quality oflife.
  • Actas an advocate for residents ensuring their voices and preferencesare heard and respected in caredecisions.
  • Providementorship and support to junior staff members contributing totheir professional development andgrowth.


Requirements
  • Validregistration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as aRegistered Nurse(RGN/RMN).
  • Minimumof 1 year of experience in a similar role preferably within a carehome or residentialsetting.
  • Excellentclinical skills and knowledge with a focus on personcentered careand bestpractices.
  • Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability to buildrapport with residents families andcolleagues.
  • Abilityto work effectively within a multidisciplinary team demonstratingflexibility adaptability andprofessionalism.
  • Commitmentto continuous professional development and learning staying abreastof industry trends andadvancements.
