Year 2 Teacher Amazing PrimarySchool Preston

We areworking witha vibrant and fun primary school based in Preston seeking aproactive and emotionally intelligent Year 2Teacher.

Responsibilitiesof a Year 2 Teacher:

  • Asa Year 2 Teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care ofchildren taking their first steps in Key Stage 1 promoting teamworkand cultivating a conducive learningenvironment.
  • Teaching the Key Stage 1curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on eachindividual childs learning targets encouraging their strengths andimproving their weaknesses
  • Further developingmaths ability and introducing fractions statistics andgeometry
  • Help children develop their writingability by creating plots characters and settings forstories.
  • Keeping track of childrens progressand occasionally reporting back toparents
