We are working with avibrant and fun primary school based in Preston seeking a proactiveand emotionally intelligent Year 2 Teacher.

Responsibilities of a Year 2Teacher:

  • As a Year 2Teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of childrentaking their first steps in Key Stage 1 promoting teamwork andcultivating a conducive learningenvironment.
  • Teaching the Key Stage 1curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on eachindividual childs learning targets encouraging their strengths andimproving their weaknesses
  • Further developingmaths ability and introducing fractions statistics andgeometry
  • Help children develop their writingability by creating plots characters and settings forstories.
  • Keeping track of childrens progressand occasionally reporting back toparents
