You willlead one Residential Childrens Worker caring and supporting up totwo children and young people. Theworking pattern istwo days onfour days off; handover will operate between mirroring teams (oneTeam Leader and one Residential Childrens Worker). You will receiveguidance and supervision from the Interim Care Manager who willmostly work and be present in the Home Monday toFriday.

Daily tasksinclude:
  • Delegatingoverseeing andcompletingthe daily tasksrelated to health nutrition and hygieneeducation work experience and engaging activitiesin line with careplansand Quality Standards
  • Supporting themanagement teamand making responsible decisions in their absence bycontinuing to live the Home ethos.
  • Developingthe skills in your team by identifying staff needs through onetoonesupervision and daily teamwork. Build capabilities by training anddelivering performance managementfeedback.

To be a successful Team Leader youshould:

  • Hold a full clean drivinglicence
  • Be able to lead supervise and motivatea Residential Childrens Workers in line with regulatoryrequirements
  • Participate incontinuous professional development including mandatory andenhanced training anddevelopment
