Job Description

This part-time home care position is focused on providing care, home help and companionship to older adults in their homes in the morning, a crucial time for many older people trying to get up and ready for the day.

Key Responsibilities of the Home Carer:

Assist with morning routines preparing a breakfast, offering companionship and emotional support. Provide personal care assistance, helping clients get up and out of bed with dignity and respect. Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and comfortable home environment Offer medication reminders and assist with mobility to ensure client safety.

Qualifications

We offer full and comprehensive, industry leading training here at Home Instead, as well as support out in the field when you have officially onboarded. Experience in Care is desirable, however, if you don't have any professional experience, we are looking for individuals with: 

A full UK driving licence  A caring, friendly disposition to create lasting relationships. An excellent command of written and spoken English. Great organisational and time management skills are really important as our clients' safety relies on us
