The Trustees and Governing Body are seeking to appoint a Holiday Club Playworker to join our dedicated, supportive and friendly staff, committed to achieving the highest standards.

**As Holiday Club Playworker:

**Main duties include**:

- To assist in delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment.
- To provide comprehensive care for the children.
- To provide refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met.
- To administer first aid when necessary.
- To consult with children and involve them in planning activities.
- To facilitate good communication with all members of the Holiday club and parents.
- To undertake appropriate and relevant training.
- To keep the work environment healthy, safe and secure.
- To carry out all responsibilities and activities within an equal opportunities framework.
- To work within agreed club policies and procedures including safeguarding and Health and Safety
- To deal with all confidential matters with tact and discretion.
- Attend to the toileting and personal hygiene of pupils.
- Have high standards.
- Be a strong team player.
- Have excellent communication skills and be able to work positively with children and staff.
- Have energy and enthusiasm.
- Show commitment to all sides of the role.
