ESM Change and Deployment Manager - Axial

Join us at AstraZeneca as an ESM Change and Deployment Manager in our Operations team. Be part of shaping the future of Operations here at AstraZeneca. Our External Supply & Manufacturing (ESM) team is accountable for sourcing and supply of externally manufactured products into the AstraZeneca network.

The products managed by ESM include APIs, Formulated & Packed products, devices and components sourced from suppliers located in several different countries and supplied to customers across all regions. 

Accountabilities:


As an ESM Change and Deployment Lead, you will support the Axial Programme on behalf of ESM providing leadership in change and project management. You will be responsible for developing and managing ESM Axial project plan, owning overall project test and training plans, and leading communication for Axial to ensure stakeholders are up to date with the programme. You will also coordinate stock build across suppliers and internal stakeholders, and act as a Change Champion for Axial project.

Essential Skills/Experience:


- Extensive Supply Chain knowledge
- Extensive Change and Project management skills
- Experience working with suppliers / CMOs
- Significant experience of operating in a global environment
- Experience with leading strategic projects and initiatives across multiple sites/teams
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong influencing skills
- Ability to work with complexity and manage ambiguity

Desirable Skills/Experience:


- A degree or equivalent in Business, Logistics, Sciences or Engineering is preferred, equivalent experience will be considered
- Lean experience
- Proven project delivery
- Demonstrated continuous improvement
- Demonstrated process standardisation
