£450-£525 Weekly Pay (PAYE - No Umbrella Company)

New Directions is collaborating with an outstanding primary school in Widnes to fill the role of a supportive teaching assistant. The school was awarded a "Good" rating with "Outstanding" features, highlighting its commitment to providing a high-quality learning environment. Although the role is based around education support, due to the children's personal needs and behaviours they require consistent mentoring, motivating and advising, as well as some counselling, so their well-being can remain stable meaning they can achieve much more in their education and work towards an more independent future.

Behaviours displayed by the children can be challenging so applicants must be prepared to practice De-escalation and calming techniques, as well maintaining an empathetic approach and understanding behaviours stems from other problems. candidates from care, sports, psychology, criminology, sociology and youth work backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
