It's an exciting time here at Jet Aire, in this newly created role we are looking for someone to join as our Drainage Engineer Trainer and lead the way by example.

Your main aim is to train and assess Drainage Engineers across the operational teams, assisting with engineer capability development in line with department requirements. The role will work closely with the operational managers implementing training standards, assessing capabilities / competencies, and mentoring engineer skills growth.
More about the role:
- Inspire and develop the Jet Aire workforce of the future, ensuring that our staff remain industry leading so we can deliver a first-class service to clients across various sectors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders including engineers, apprentices, operational departments, senior leadership and external training providers as well as awarding bodies.
- Develop and implement training competency standards for drainage engineers, including but not limited to, elements such as Health and Safety, NWL competencies, Jet Vac, Recycler, CCTV and Jet Van operations, private work and all aspects of completing the role of a drainage engineer successfully.
- Appropriately challenge and support the businesses apprentices thought-out their learning.
- Ensure the highest standards of HSEQ performance within engineer training and capabilities, always modelling these behaviours.
- Review training data, reports and making observations to identifying training gaps while offering onsite coaching and support to help overcome them.
- Assist in deliver a high standard of customer service and lead the underlying behaviours and attitudes that contribute to delivery.
- Report on training competency status by department monthly and keep departments up to date with training information and engineer progress / capability.
More about you:
You will bring along your passion and experience as a drainage engineer, working across multiple resources - Jet Vac, Jet Van's, CCTV on NWL and private assets for different clients.
To be a success in this role you will need a sound understating of company systems, Microsoft suite of programmes etc the ability to communicate and nurture talent
