Main Responsibilities

• Partnering with site management to influence decisions on all aspects of employee management, ensuring that risks to the company are minimised.

• Managing our current People Policies and procedures to support best practices and ensure the company complies with current and future legislation.

• Working collaboratively with our Trade Union

• Assisting operational KPIs through effective people management,

• Note taking will be apart of the role.

• Working alongside site management teams to ensure a consistent approach to performance management.

• Providing sites with accurate weekly/period People KPI reporting.

• Providing accurate people management advice that avoids additional costs to the business through effective stakeholder management, ensuring all legal obligations are met.

You will need

Full UK Manual car driving licence. There will be an expectation for a small amount of travel

• Solid experience in Colleague Relations or a related field, including experience influencing senior management and critical stakeholders, ideally CIPD Qualified or working towards a professional qualification in People.

• Experience in Colleague Relations, advising and supporting managers in welfare, investigations, and disciplinary meetings.

• Ability to multitask and prioritise many ER cases and projects in a timely fashion.

• Extensive experience with the 365 suite (TEAMS essential).

• Experience managing a small team of People Administrators.

• Experience with trade unions.

• Knowledge of Employment Law and Employee Relations process management, including advising in welfare management, supporting long-term sick colleagues returning to work, and supporting colleagues who have adjustments on site (essential).
