Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a SEN Support Teaching Assistant in Rotherham. This role involves providing tailored support to a student with Special Educational Needs (SEN), fostering a positive learning environment, and assisting the classroom teacher in creating an inclusive and enriching educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to a student with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalized learning strategies.
- Collaborate with the classroom teacher to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support the student's social and emotional development, fostering a sense of belonging and self-confidence.
- Adapt and differentiate teaching materials to accommodate the student's learning style and abilities.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the student's education.
- Monitor and record the student's progress, providing regular feedback to the teaching team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Relevant experience in supporting students with SEN in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of various special educational needs and strategies to address them.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of students with SEN.

- This is a full-time position based in Grimsby.
- The successful candidate will undergo necessary background checks.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
