A position has becomeavailable for a site manager for a client at one of our schools inChester.

Weare a facilities Management company based in Chester city centre wesupply cleaners caretakers and site managers for Cheshire andCheshire west council. We also have the parks contract and a numberof schools in the Cheshire and Cheshire west area.

Thejob roles of the site manager are asfollows:

*MONDAY TOFRIDAY
* SPLITSHIFT
*7AM TILL9AM
* 1PM TILL7PM
* BASED INCHESTER
*SALARY 27K 30K DEPENDING ONEXPERIENCE
* 52WEEKS AYEAR


Thejob roles of the site manager are asfollows:

*Maintain the buildings and amenities of the school effecting allnecessary repairs andimprovements.

*Monitor all works related to grounds maintenance; ensuring thatspecified standards are achieved and that contract compliance isobtained.

*Organise and supervise the work of the caretaking and cleaningstaff on the school site including arranging work schedulesmonitoring cleaningduties.

*Order supplies of cleaning materials and other caretakingmaterials.

*Identify staff training needs; in order to achieve quality work andthe most effective deployment and competence ofstaff.

*CLEANING AND TESING OF SWIMMING POOL (EXPERIENCEREQUIRED)

RequirementsThedesired applicant will have the followingskills:

Knowledgeof:
  • BuildingFire & H & Sregulations.
  • practicalmaintenance ability and some knowledge of plumbing andelectrics.

  • Supervisoryskills.
  • Administrationand financialsystems.
  • Contractand tenderingprocess.
  • Operationof cleaning equipment power and handtools.
  • Siteservices and their location and isolationpoints.
  • Breakdownsfaults and repairs identification and calling out of appropriatecontractor.
