We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our Adviser Marketing team on a 12 month fixed term contract. As a Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive business growth and maximise brand awareness. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and commercially astute individual to make a significant impact within our organisation.

As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all adviser marketing activities and initiatives for our protection business (B2B and B2B2C). This includes developing and executing marketing plans, managing marketing campaigns, gathering market insight and analysing adviser behaviour to identify opportunities for growth. You will collaborate with a team of talented professionals to create and deliver compelling marketing materials that effectively communicate our unique value.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing within the financial services industry and a proven track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns. You will have excellent analytical skills and be comfortable working with data to drive decision making. Additionally, you will possess exceptional people management and communication skills, as you will be responsible for managing a team of marketing professionals.

About the role

Support development and manage delivery of the adviser marketing strategy and plan to achieve Royal London’s objectives in line with the business plan and the wider Brand & Marketing (B&M) strategy. Lead the delivery of trading activity in the UK adviser protection market on behalf of Brand & Marketing, collaborating effectively with Brand and Marketing colleagues and other business areas. Support the Head of Adviser Marketing and Senior Marketing Manager in providing marketing direction into the UK business, using data to demonstrate and articulate the effectiveness of B&M’s contribution to the business plan. Maintain deep audience knowledge to bring insights around adviser engagement opportunities into Royal London and ensure the audience view is embedded in all marketing activity across the funnel (B2B and B2B2C). Manage a team of marketing professionals, acting as an advocate and champion of marketing within the UK business.

About you

Experience leading the development and delivery of marketing plans across different audiences (including B2B). Marketing specialist with advanced understanding of marketing communication tools and techniques. Strong project management skills. Experience of marketing planning and development. Collaborative with excellent stakeholder management. Analytical and highly numerate. Ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, internally and externally. Experience managing budgets and risks.
