  • Install, test, and customise applications and new DBMS versions to meet system requirements.

  • Ensure proper storage and archiving procedures, including Ola Hallengren scripts.

  • Collaborate on business-driven projects and work closely with SQL developers, contributing to team knowledge and documentation.

  • Devoted to the FCA principle of Consumer Duty, by ensuring we are driving good customer outcomes across all aspects that have potential to impact our customers.

 What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in Financial Services or a heavily regulated industry.

  • Expertise in T-SQL (2012-2019), SQL Server replication, Always On/Availability Groups, and query optimisation.

  • Strong understanding of SSRS, SSIS, SQL migrations, and SQL installation/configuration.

  • Proficient in SQL server patching, upgrades, PowerShell remote management, and troubleshooting complex issues.

  • Excellent problem determination, analytical, and resolution skills are a must.

  • Experience with Dev lifecycle/database progression (Dev/Test/UAT/Pre-prod/Production) and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).

  • Strong communication, technical documentation, and organisational skills with a customer-focused, proactive approach.

  • Lifestyle: A competitive salary and attractive benefits package including 33 days holidays including bank holidays upon commencement, with the ability to buy more or sell back.
