About the Role:

Job Title: Senior Healthcare Support Worker (Podiatry)

Location: Eastern Locality, Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

As a Senior Healthcare Support Worker (Podiatry), you will make a difference caring for our patients, many of whom require ongoing footcare for high-risk conditions, such as Diabetes.

You will be looking after patients with a variety of foot conditions in a range of settings. Duties may include:

Providing clinical support to podiatrists, including assistance in ulcer/wound care and surgical clinics Running your own footcare clinics and domiciliary visits, providing nail care under the guidance of a podiatrist Assisting in the day-to-day running of clinics, including preparation of clinic rooms, ensuring smooth operation of multi-disciplinary team clinics, managing stock, and handling clinical administration Assisting with patient care and education, providing wound dressings, and liaising with other departments

About You:

A caring, motivated individual with excellent communication and teamwork skills Level 3 qualification in healthcare Good time management and IT skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
