**What you will be doing**
As a Senior Support Worker you’ll care for others without a second thought and changes lives for the better, with enhanced responsibilities for the team of Support Workers and working collaboratively with other team members to ensure the best possible careis provided to service users.
The Wellbeing Champion aspect of the role will see you supporting your colleagues, arranging morale-boosting activities, brining awareness days to life, and bringing fun and comradery to the team.
You will join the team at Spring House in the centre of Exeter, which is a new 6 bed care home with individual apartments for people with a learning disability or autism, who are stepping down from a hospital service and are ready to transition into thecommunity for more independent living.
It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week because ofyou.
The shift patterns include working nights and weekends, 12 hours a day, 3-4 days a week.
