About The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Yard Operative to join the team at our friendly Midhurst depot.

​

This role is an integral part of our business, where the key duties include:

​

• Cleaning & preparing all machinery to a high standard and ensuring machines are presented in a condition to exceed customer satisfaction
• Using Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to unload incoming deliveries
• Preparing machinery for the Workshop
• Preparing machinery for demonstrations (coupling up etc)
• Verifying and receiving goods into stock
• Working outside in the yard in any weather conditions
• Loading and unloading lorries and other vehicles
• Ensuring the Workshop and outside areas are kept presentable and organised at all times
• Ensure good housekeeping is maintained
• Compliance with all Health and Safety regulations
• Any other ad hoc general yard/premises duties as required by the business
  
  

About You:

We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate great attention to detail along with drive, commitment, and enthusiasm. Skills/experience required:

• Previous experience in a Yard Operative position is required along with familiarity with Agricultural machinery
• Attention to detail
• The ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Forklift Licence
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
• An efficient and methodical way of working
• Confidence/assertiveness when working with others

​

About The Benefits:

We can offer a highly competitive hourly rate dependent on experience, up to 25 days holiday, company uniform/safety equipment, onsite parking, free tea and coffee, company pension.

Hours of work are 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday plus overtime.
