We are looking for an experienced and Passionate Lifestyle Support Worker
The Lifestyle Support Worker will form an important role in the community rehabilitation service to promote healthier and happier lifestyles among people with severe mental illness and their carers. The role will field based covering Cornwall with admin duties based at St Austell hospital (there may be opportunities for remote working). You will work directly with the therapy team, to proactively engage with the clients to offer a wide range of activities that will aim to improve quality of life. Examples of this could include supporting clients on a one-to-one basis to gain confidence going to the gym, or supporting clients in group activities such as healthy eating sessions. The overall aim is to build sustainable behaviour changes to promote healthier and happier lifestyles.
