Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of property litigation matters, including commercial disputes, landlord and tenant issues, construction disputes, and contested probate.
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring they are well-informed of their options and potential outcomes.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, witness statements, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Negotiate settlements and liaise effectively with all parties involved in litigation.
  • Stay up-to-date with legal developments and maintain compliance with professional standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3-5 years PQE (Post-Qualified Experience) in general litigation.
  • Proven expertise in commercial litigation, including experience with the Tenant and Land Act, building and contracting disputes, and contested probate.
  • Strong advocacy and negotiation skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage a demanding caseload under pressure.
