The Opportunity

As a Supervisor, Makeup, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing a team of Beauty Advisors within a new Sephora store in the UK. You will be responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience by providing expert advice and guidance on makeup products and application techniques. Your role will involve training and coaching Beauty Advisors, ensuring they deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales targets. Additionally, you will collaborate with the store management team to drive operational excellence and maintain a visually appealing and well-stocked makeup section.

What Youll Do

Leadership and Team Management

Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of Beauty Advisors to deliver exceptional customer service. Provide guidance, training, and ongoing coaching to enhance product knowledge and selling skills. Set performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.

Customer Service and Sales

Demonstrate expert knowledge of makeup products, application techniques, and trends. Assist customers in finding the right products to meet their individual needs and preferences. Proactively engage with customers, build relationships, and provide personalized recommendations. Drive sales by achieving individual and team sales targets.Resolve customer concerns and ensure their satisfaction.

Operational Excellence

Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards to create an appealing and organized makeup section. Ensure shelves are properly stocked and products are neatly displayed. Monitor and manage inventory levels, conducting stock checks and replenishments as needed. Collaborate with the store management team to implement promotional activities and achieve store objectives. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including loss prevention and health and safety guidelines.

Product Knowledge and Training

Stay up-to-date with the latest makeup trends, techniques, and product launches. Conduct regular training sessions for Beauty Advisors to enhance their product knowledge and application skills. Provide ongoing education on makeup techniques, including workshops and demonstrations. Encourage and support Beauty Advisors in pursuing professional development opportunities.

What Youll Bring

Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the beauty or retail industry is preferred. In-depth knowledge of makeup products, application techniques, and industry trends. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive results. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Familiarity with Sephora's brand and product offerings is a plus.
