The Opportunity

The Finance Systems Transformation programme is a global change program supporting the wider Global Finance Vision. Our goal is to consolidate, simplify and develop a more resilient and scalable system solution to support our finance teams worldwide and the wider business.

This role is critical in supporting the Group Head of Finance Systems in setting, and delivering within an experienced delivery team, the systems strategy, and the associated projects.

As a Project Manager within the Finance Transformation Programme, you will be part of an experienced delivery team and will report into the Group Head of Finance Systems. The role will be responsible for delivery of defined projects on a day-to-day basis including

In this role, you will guide finance system projects, from inception to completion. You will lead a diverse team, ensuring resources are managed effectively and dependencies are addressed including establishing frameworks for planning, scheduling, and quality review, while proactively monitoring progress and addressing any issues that arise.

Stakeholder management is key, as you maintain relationships and manage expectations. Armed with project management tools like MS Project and risk analysis techniques, you provide transparency and oversight throughout.

Administering Project and Design team meetings, workshops, collaborating with Business Analysts to understand project requirements and find solutions. And as projects reach completion, you conduct thorough reviews and close-down activities, while meticulously maintaining project documentation for future reference.

We are looking for people who:

Have a successfully delivered a project throughout the entire lifecycle.

Have expertise in all aspects of project management including project planning, estimating, business case development, budget management, reporting and RAID management (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies).

Have delivered finance systems related projects within complex and changing finance environments.

Have strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to pass on complex information in a transparent and concise manner.

Can promote project initiatives from a Change Management perspective including working with stakeholders to create training manuals and other training, communications, and reporting materials.
