About the Role

The broader team combines detailed Financial Management product knowledge with strong Finance experience and a deep understanding of country-specific statutory and local market requirements. This knowledge is used to influence our investments and help our GTM teams ensure customers understand our functional capabilities and realize the value of Workday in the countries in which they operate.

We are hiring for an Outbound Global Product Strategist who will work alongside our country domain experts and play the lead role in educating the Workday ecosystem of customers, prospective customers, partners and internal teams on the global capabilities of Workday Financial Management.
 

What you will do in this role:

Be the primary point-of-contact for global queries arising from customers, GTM teams, Services, Marketing & Partners

Support global sales cycles by providing advice and guidance on how Workday can meet the requirements of the countries our prospective customers operate in

Use competitor analysis, industry trends, product analytics and insights from customers and internal customer-facing functions to inform the product roadmap.

Design and execute feature adoption initiatives to achieve successful outcomes and ensure that customers continuously realize value.

Craft and deliver high-quality presentations to a variety of audiences at conferences, customer visits, during sales cycles and for internal enablement

Support broader Financial Product strategy initiatives as the need arises

About You

Basic Qualifications:

10+ years experience in either product management, consulting, or overseeing global finance department operations and technology.

Direct experience and knowledge of the operational and statutory requirements required to meet both international and local reporting standards

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven by the confidence to lead customer engagements and present to large audiences.
 

Other Qualifications :

Experience building cross-team relationships and influencing stakeholders

Ability to work on an autonomous basis, whilst collaborating effectively with team members in order to set global roadmap priorities

Experience of the development cycle for enterprise SaaS products.

Workday Financials experience is not essential but would be a distinct advantage
