Festival Republic is the country’s leading festival and events promoter. The Great Escape Festival is a premier event known for showcasing the best in new music and emerging artists as well as presenting an industry leading conference. We are looking for a creative, energetic and self-motivated individual that has enthusiasm for music events and festivals and would like to work within a busy events company.

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for creating engaging social media content for The Great Escape Festival and assisting with marketing campaigns for a number of Festival Republic’s large outdoor stand-alone shows. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can balance multiple projects and drive our brand's presence across various platforms. From time to time, they may be asked to work across other Festival Republic’s events.

The candidate must be able to work as part of a team, constantly provide fresh and innovative ideas and have an eye for detail. They will be required to work onsite at festivals and events which include some evenings and weekends.

Experience working in a marketing role Prior music industry experience Interested in emerging talent across a wide range of genres Excellent attention to detail Creative thinker Strong communication and organisational skills A problem-solver with the ability to think on your feet, prioritise your workload and implement measures to improve procedures and workflow Possess strong online communication skills including the ability to relate to different audiences Good use of Microsoft Office particularly Excel Ability to manage several projects at one time

Desired Experience

Experience in a similar live events company Previous use of social media in a professional setting Some experience using Adobe Creative Suites Knowledge and enthusiasm regarding UK festival markets and events

What the role includes

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Content Production for The Great Escape Festival:

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to promote The Great Escape Festival. Create engaging and original content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube. Manage the social media calendar, ensuring consistent posting and timely updates. Monitor and respond to audience interactions to foster community engagement. Collaborate with the festival’s PR and programming teams to gather content and promote artist appearances. Track and analyse social media metrics to optimize content and strategies for increased engagement and reach. Stay updated with social media trends and emerging platforms to keep our strategy current and innovative.

Leading Marketing Campaigns for Large Outdoor Stand-Alone Artist Shows:

Develop and implement marketing strategies for large outdoor stand-alone shows, tailored to each artist's brand and audience. Coordinate with artists' management teams to align on marketing objectives and deliver cohesive campaigns. Create and manage digital and print advertising campaigns, including digital ads, email marketing, and poster distribution. Oversee the design and production of promotional materials, working closely with graphic designers and external vendors. Monitor and report on campaign performance, using analytics to measure success and inform future strategies. Ensure all marketing activities comply with industry regulations and brand guidelines.
