Responsibilities
  • Planand deliver engaging English and literacy lessons tailored to theneeds of students with special educationalneeds
  • Implement targeted interventions andpersonalized learning plans to support literacydevelopment
  • Use a range of teaching strategiesand resources to accommodate different learning styles andabilities
  • Assess and monitor student progressproviding constructive feedback and support to facilitateimprovement
  • Collaborate with the SEN team andother professionals to create and implement Individual EducationPlans (IEPs)
  • Foster a supportive andencouraging classroom environment that promotes student confidenceand motivation
  • Participate in schoolinitiatives to enhance literacy across the curriculum and support alove forreading
Experience andQualifications
  • QualifiedTeacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experienceteaching English and literacy preferably to students with specialeducational needs
  • Strong knowledge of effectiveliteracy intervention strategies and personalized learningapproaches
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping studentssucceed
  • A clear DBScheck
  • Legal right to work in theUK
