Radis Community Care have an opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team based in Clarence Park Extra Care in Malvern

About the role

As a Team Leader you will provide support to our extra care complex, providing specialised support to individuals. Radis recognise each person as an individual and provide a unique service which is tailored to their specific needs and provide a consistent approach throughout their life.

You will be the first point of contact for the package, providing supervisions / meetings and support to the Care Workers. The role will require you to schedule / allocate work to the Care Workers ensuring personal care and all care tasks are client specific. You will also support with medication, personal care tasks and offer support within the community.

You will also be required participate in the on-call rota and provide cover for care and Radis’ housing related support duties when emergency cover is required.

Here are some details about the hours & shifts required:

The role is 75% care and 25% office working, leading a team and keeping up to date with compliance. Creating support plans and supporting the team to provide high quality care. The current shift pattern is:

Monday 7-3

Tuesday 2 - 10

Wednesday 7-3

Thursday off

Friday 7-3 one week and 3-10 the other

Then alternate weekends.

We care for a range of service users including the elderly and for people with physical and/or learning disabilities. Tailored to meet our service user’s individual needs, our care ranges from brief daily visits to 24-hour live-in care and can either be short or long-term.

Skills and Qualifications required for the role

Previous experience as a Team Leader will be advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3.  You will have good written and verbal commination skills and have a willingness to learn in line with clients needs and expectations.

This role requires you to undergo an enhanced DBS check. A driving licence with access to a vehicle will also be advantageous as some travel may be required for the role.
