Job Title:Enterprise/Platform Architect (HYBRID)

Job Description:

The Client is seeking an enterprise/platform architect tojoin the Client Enterprise Architecture team. This individual willwork with key members to balance and prioritize current operationaldemands disruptions and opportunities with the longerterm strategicvision of the organization. Furthermore the enterprise/platformarchitect provides technology guidance road maps principlesstandards and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides direction guidance and definition of IT Platformarchitecture to effectively support Client and business strategy.Supports all architectural disciplines and champions architecturalinitiatives.
  • Reviewsexisting business processes and establishes metrics to improvebusiness processes as well as support of all architecturaldisciplines under their direction.
  • Works onhighly complex projects that require indepth knowledge acrossmultiple specialized architecture domains.
  • Aligns architecture strategy with businessgoals.
  • Defines explains and advocatestechnology strategy.
  • Develops and communicatesarchitectural policies standards guidelines andprocedures.
  • Promotes the EA process outcomesand results to the organization and senior leadership.
  • Reviews and/or analyzes and develops architecturalrequirements as needed for the organization.
  • Ensures the conceptual completeness of the technicalsolutions.
  • Leads teams in developingtechnology plans.
  • Consults with project teamsto fit projects to enterprise architecture as well as to identifywhen it is necessary to modify the enterprisearchitecture.
  • Ensures recommendations arebased on business relevance appropriate timing anddeployment.
  • Collaborates with projectmanagement and IT leaders to ensure progress towards architecturalalignment with project goals and requirements.
  • Preferred experience includes Esris GIS tools andplatform.

Document the data architecture and environment in order tomaintain a current and accurate view of the larger data picture.

Strong understanding ofrelational data structures theories principles andpractices.

Strongfamiliarity with meta data management and associated processes.Handson knowledge of enterprise repository tools data modelingtools data mapping tools and data profiling tools.
