Are you an enthusiastic primary school teacher seeking a new and exciting opportunity?

GSL Education are currently partnering with a local Primary School in Bournemouth in search for a kind, dedicated and passionate full-time teacher who is available to start as soon as possible in their new role. The position is open to experienced teachers only, ideally with experience teaching Early Years Foundation Stage or Key Stage 1. Since this role is a maternity cover position, it is fixed-term only until the end of the school year.

Requirements:

• Teaching Certification (QTS /PGCE)

• In-depth knowledge of the primary school curriculum

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for education and supporting children’s learning

• Ability to craft engaging and inclusive lesson plans, including differentiation so that all pupils can access the lesson

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver creative and tailored lessons

• Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration

• Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a conducive learning atmosphere

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents

• Create a safe and supportive learning environment where children feel encouraged to express themselves and take risks

Key Skills:

  • Behaviour management
  • The ability to differentiate based on the varying needs of the pupils
  • Effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Assessment and evaluation strategies
  • Willingness to teach either Key Stage 1 or Early Years Foundation Stage
