Title: Mold Operator Work Location: MilfordNH 03055 Duration: 6 Months Job Type: Contract Work Type: Onsite Shift: 2nd Shift (M F;2:30 pm 10:30 pm) Job Description:
  • Responsible for running molding machines. Inspection ofproduct produced. The ability to determine if
    productproduced is acceptable and meets quality specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work under general direction ofthe department supervisor and/or leader with a minimum ofsupervision following processes and procedures
  • Work from drawings blueprints sketches verbalor written instruction work orders process sheets.
  • Report defective materials scrap qualityproblems or any other unusual condition or circumstance totechnician and/or supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain personal production and quality standards asdetermined by supervision.
  • Responsible for product quality work must be inspectedto ensure conformity to specifications and quality standards beforeduring and after completion
  • Maintainrecords and other pertinent data as instructed or required.
  • Operate injection molding machine
  • Operate blending machine to beable to combine raw pellets together
  • Cut off excess material with an exacto knife
  • Inspect products for surfacedefects and flaws
  • Position and securethreaded cores and/or overmolds into mold
  • Fill machine hoppers
  • Follow all safety regulations.
  • Maintain area in a clean and orderly condition
  • Crosstrain and work in otherproduction areas
  • Perform similar andother related duties as instructed or required.
SPECIALKNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • High school diploma orgeneral education degree (GED); one to three years manufacturingexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of educationand experience.
  • Versatility requiredto perform many and varied other assembly and soldering operationsmanually.
  • Must have reasonabledexterity in hands to manipulate small parts.
  • Ability to read blueprints and measuringequipment such as: micrometers and calipers preferred
Additional Characteristics:
  • This position works as both an individualcontributor and in a team environment
  • This position required the ability to lift 2555 lbs.occasionally 2055 lbs frequently 1025lbs.
  • This position may require standing and/or sitting forlong periods of time up to 810 hours per day
  • This position required good manuallydexterity and visual acuity
  • Thisposition may be exposed to various industrial cleaning chemicalsand oils
