Job Summary

Consort Equipment Products Ltd, a leading British manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join its team in Milford Haven. As a key member of the production team, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining precision tools, molds, jigs, and fixtures to support the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings to design and develop precision tools and equipment
• Operate manual and CNC machinery to manufacture tools and components
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes
• Develop and maintain a high level of expertise in toolmaking, machining, and precision manufacturing
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment

Requirements

• Proficiency in toolmaking, machining, and precision manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience in operating manual and CNC machinery
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant vocational training or apprenticeship in toolmaking or related field
