Sales Executive

My client is looking for a Sales Executive to sell learning and development solutions which include customised/bespoke commercial training on the topics of leadership, management, project management, sales, customer service and digital learning solutions, to name a few.
 
This is predominately an inside sales role selling B2B dealing with incoming leads that are generated by our outstanding marketing strategy. You’ll then need to account manage your clients and maximise revenue by farming those accounts and building long-term relationships and repeat business. You’ll need to be commercially minded, have experience with consultative selling and have a thirst for Learning & Development.

Examples of the type of work:
  1. Responding to and progressing inbound commercial training enquiries relating to face-to-face and virtual in-house courses and programmes.
  2. Conducting thorough fact finds with prospects over the phone, in person or via Teams or Zoom to identify their training needs and requirements and scheduling proposal submissions.
  3. Producing proposals, quotations and tenders end-to-end ensuring high quality formatting of documents, suggesting content for programmes of all sizes and structures and putting together the commercials and investment sections. This can also include tender submissions and PQQ completion.
  4. Conducting daily & weekly thorough follow ups of existing clients/pipeline via Salesforce.
  5. Pitching, presenting and conducting post-proposal meetings with prospective & existing clients.
  6. Processing of client terms/contracts once signed to the relevant Trainer(s), Operations and Finance ensuring the key information is handed over for the project to be fulfilled correctly and to the highest client satisfaction.
  7. Creating and providing prospecting campaigns and other lead generation activity when required, working with the Marketing team where necessary.
  8. Working closely with our Open Course sales team to provide help and cover during busy periods and holidays. To include taking calls, answering emails and helping people to decide which course to take and get booked on.
 
Person and skills required:
  • A bubbly, friendly and outgoing personality is essential.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written English are a must.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent MS Office skillsincluding Word/PowerPoint/Excel.
  • Good level of IT and digital skills advantageous.
  • Previous experience within a sales/consultative sales role essential.
  • Experience in the training or L&D industry highly advantageous.
  • Motivated, ambitious and good problem-solving skills.
  • A thirst for learning and development.
  • Well presented
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours) 09.00 – 17.30.
 
Location: Coventry
 
Start Date: Immediate start.
 
Salary: Up to 30k pa dependent on experience and qualifications.
 
Commission: Commission package based on targets being achieved. OTE £40k + once fully trained.
 
Holidays: 22 days + statutory. An additional 2 days per year for each year of service rising to 30 days max.
