Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM)

About you:

Are you an experienced and highly skilled Hand Therapist (Band 6) looking for a locum role in Southwest London?

Join Medacs Healthcare and play a vital role in supporting patients at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (one of the UK's top trusts).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within a dedicated Hand Therapy team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
  • Provide comprehensive hand therapy services to adults and children with various conditions (trauma, acquired conditions).
  • Assess patients, fabricate splints, administer therapeutic modalities, and guide rehabilitation.
  • Interpret hand and wrist X-rays for informed treatment decisions.

Essential Qualifications:We are looking for a Hand Therapist (Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist) with:

  • HCPC registration.
  • Minimum 2 years' clinical experience in hand therapy.
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills for simple and complex hand/wrist conditions.
  • Experience managing a patient caseload (adults & paediatrics) and mentoring junior. therapists.
  • Full UK right to work.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience interpreting hand and wrist X-rays.
  • Experience working within the UK NHS system.
