Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to come and join us in the Renal and Transplant services located at Hammersmith Hospital as the virtual clinic coordinator for North West London referrals. The kidney and transplant services is a regional centre and cover the whole of North West London.

The post-holder will be responsible for the booking service for Virtual Nephrology clinic patients on e-RS and Cerner, maintaining and managing the local Excel database as well as providing administrative support to the associated education sessions.

The team requires a highly organised clinic coordinator to support the clinical team and provide a range of will need to be positive, hardworking and ability to work at pace within a busy environment, to multi-task and to prioritise work are key skills required for the post.

Main duties of the job

To lead on the booking service for Virtual Clinic Nephrology patients from the boroughs of: Hammersmith & Fulham, Watford, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Ealing, Harrow, Brent. Kensington & Chelsea & Westminster.

Provide a comprehensive and quality administration service to the Virtual Clinic services andmanage and prioritise their workload liaising closely with the other administration staff and management in the Department. Provide administrative support to the wider multidisciplinary team, including Consultants.
