Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Band 6 Junior Nurse Practitioner or Junior Paramedic Practitioner to join us in a potential progression post with the opportunity to complete a development plan. This will enable the practitioner to be able to apply to a band 7 role on completion, when a vacancy becomes available.

You'll be joining our team based at Sittingbourne and Sheppey Minor 
Injury/Urgent Treatment Centre. 

As a member of the MIU/Urgent Treatment Centre, you will be expected to manage the assessment, diagnosis, implementation and treatment of a range of highly specialised care for adults and children (aged 1 year and above) presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed illness and injury conditions attending the unit.

Main duties of the job

You will be supported with a personalised development plan to assist with progress of your practice, skills, and knowledge to enable you to apply for a Band 7 post in the future. 

There will be a competency pack for completion and the opportunity to be supported by a knowledgeable team to gain invaluable experience with minor injuries.
