The opportunity The Senior Reporting Analyst's primary responsibility is to deliver business intelligence reporting about British Heart Foundation's (BHF) customers and marketing activities in order to support improved decision-making and deliver a great customer experience. You'll also carry out data analysis to provide actionable data insight about our customers.
About the team The Senior Reporting Analyst role sits within the Customer Insight and Analysis team, a team of data and digital analysts, data scientists and researchers. We work across BHF to ensure the organisation’s strategy is led by high quality, timely intelligence, and our colleagues can access high quality insight to support decision-making, drive growth and improve our products and services. About you

You'll be responsible for the development of customer and activity reporting that supports both tactical and strategic decision-making across the division and helps deliver a better customer experience. The reporting duties will require data extraction from source systems (e.g. CRM), data preparation and transformation, building the reporting data layers and the data visualisation reports.

You'll also work with colleagues to identify and agree their data insight requirements in support of their decision-making and planning, agreeing deadlines and deliverables. Support the delivery of marketing effectiveness projects such as econometrics and attribution. Support the creation, application, rescore and continual review of data models, such as propensity models, to enhance targeting.

To be successful in this role you'll have the following skills and experience: Substantial experience of creating reports using data visualisation software, especially PowerBI  Experience of data engineering to support reporting (ideally using Data Factory, Synapse and PowerBI) Experience of building reporting data layers in PowerBI  Experience of data analysis packages such as R, SPSS or equivalent  MS SQL, Azure and Synapse (Azure SQL Data Warehouse)  Ability to generate complex information for strategy review and interpret results appropriately. Creating and managing business intelligence reports and dashboards supporting marketing activities, for example, campaign reports, KPIs, supporter profiles etc.  Creating the data structures and ETL to support reporting ideally in an Azure environment  Demonstrable experience in Direct Marketing, Digital Marketing or Fundraising Environment  Experience of building propensity models and applying them using different data sources  Experience of using a complex CRM system  Experience of creating digital reports such as using Google Analytics and BigQuery. Working arrangements

Please note that this is a fixed-term contract for 18 months.

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.
