We are open to receiving applications from Early Years Teachers (ECT's) and more experienced.
Our large, two-form entry primary school in Litherland are on the lookout for an experienced, or newly qualified, primary School teacher to work in a Year 5 class on a full-time basis. As a result of a strong and supportive senior leadership team, the school has very little turnover in their teaching department. In a recent Ofsted inspection, they were graded as 'Good' with outstanding features.
As a Primary School Teacher you'll be expected to:
- Teach all areas of the school curriculum.
- Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment.
- Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
- Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation.
- Maintain discipline.
- Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupil's development.
- Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area.
- Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
- Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
To apply the candidate must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Able to provide Referees.
- An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
