Job Title: Primary School Teaching Assistant

Location: Bootle, Liverpool

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one behavioural support for a child in Reception. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the child and their teachers to remove barriers to learning and support them to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one behavioural support for a child in Reception
  • Work closely with the child and their teachers to develop strategies to support their learning
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to ensure the child's needs are met
  • Monitor and record the child's progress, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to ensure a comprehensive support package

Requirements:

  • Experience working with Primary aged children, particularly those with SEND
  • Positive and creative approach to behaviour and confidence building
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
