We are currently recruiting for a Senior Practitioner to join our Childrens Disability team on a permanent basis.

As a Senior Practitioner/Deputy Team Manager within our Children’s Services Team, you will assume a crucial role in managing and delivering effective and efficient services for children, young people, and their families.

Your responsibilities include providing professional supervision, adhering to Social Work England's code of practice, and contributing to team development. This role involves complex assessments, case management, and collaboration with other agencies to ensure the well-being of service users. Flexibility and commitment to working outside office hours are essential to meet the diverse needs of families.

A current registration with Social Work England.  Good knowledge and post-qualifying experience in children's or adults' services.  A sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.  A proven ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.

The children, families and young people we work with come from a variety of backgrounds and in order to deliver the best possible care it is vital that we have a workforce that is culturally competent, representative and understands their unique experiences and perspectives.
