Role Purpose
This is an awesome opportunity to be one of the first apprentices to join Co-op Live as a Apprentice Maintenance Technician. Working alongside a experienced Facilities Management team across electrical, mechanical and general maintenance. You will receive lots of valuable support as you learn new skills and gain hands on experience.
Every day will be different as you learn to problem solve, carryout repairs, test inspections, troubleshooting repair of machinery along with other equipment to ensure our venue is operational for our fans to enjoy The team will offer you lots of support and mentoring to enhance your skills and learning and become a fully qualified Maintenance Technician
This is a 18 month apprentice programme and you will complete a Level 2 qualification in Building Property Maintenance.
Responsibilities
Learn how to complete routine maintenance tasks as part of our routine checks, Develop your skills across building checklists, filter replacements, temperature checks and much more Learn troubleshooting techniques to spot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues as they arise Get the chance to participate in equipment installations and upgrades, all under the supervision of our trained team Willingness to learn new skills and gain hands on experience Learn how to log repairs on the system Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your technical skills and knowledge in addition to attending college and learning on the job Hourly Rate: Meets national living wage

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Hold a GCSE or a level 1 functional skills in Maths and English Basic understanding & interest in mechanical and electrical systems A passion and strong willingness to learn new skills Develop your skills to adapt to new challenges Great communication skills and able to follow clear instructions Experience of being part of a team Thrive when it's buzzing and show resilience in getting things done A passion to deliver the best fan experience at our incredible new arena An infectious can-do approach
