–40 hours per week (paid one hour lunch break)
Salary £28,038 per annum

As a Maintenance Handyperson, you'll help us meet our aim to provide our service users with good quality, well maintained housing that is furnished and decorated to a good standard.

You will undertake a range of tasks to make sure our buildings and grounds are always safe and well-maintained carrying out planned and reactive minor repairs on properties that are empty and occupied.

Duties will include (but not be limited to)

Joinery / Carpentry Patch Plastering Tiling and Basic Plumbing Painting and Decorating Grounds Maintenance Flat pack assembly of furniture and repair Disposal of rubbish Reporting any maintenance issues that require a specialist trade to resolve i.e. electrical / gas work You will work closely with both the local operational delivery team as well as the national maintenance team, the latter providing technical direction and guidance

What we need from you

Proven experience of working in a relevant trade Good attention to detail. Must be able to represent Nacro with a professional approach and attitude. Ability to maintain focus while working individually. Good time management skills.
