Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 – The Shore Pre-School – Term Time Only
The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at The Shore Pre-School.
The Shore Pre-School has been registered since 2000. It operates from a building within the Shore community rooms in Weston Shore Infant School. There is a fully enclosed area for outdoor play, a sensory room and the pre-school also has use of the school playing field and the Sure Start garden. The setting is registered on the compulsory and voluntary parts of the Childcare Register and on the Early Years Register for 26 children from two years to 4 years of age. It is an inclusive Early Years Setting which supports children with disabilities and/or learning difficulties as well as children for whom English is an additional language.
Your roles and responsibilities will include;
Assist in creating a safe nurturing environment for children. Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring activities are developmentally appropriate and inclusive. Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians and sharing information about children’s development and well-being. Observe and assess children’s development, documenting observations and contributing to individual learning plans. Support children’s personal needs. Contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming pre-school. Collaborate with pre-school team to plan and deliver engaging learning activities both indoors and outdoors. Attending staff meetingsRequirements;
Level 2 Childcare Qualification is essential when applying for this role You must be able to gain a clear DBS Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalentHours;
The Shore Pre-School is open from 08:30-15:30 Monday to Friday and is a term time only setting The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 35 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussedBenefits;
