Job Details:


  • Children's Residential Support Worker

  • Working for a well-established organisation that specialises in support for children and young people within OFSTED-regulated care homes.

  • Working in a 3 Bedded Children's home supporting children with Learning disabilities

  • Provide therapeutic support, working towards positive outcomes for the young people

  • Work within a staff team of support workers, seniors, deputy managers and a registered manager

  • Ensure all support given meets OFSTED standards

  • Support the children within the home and in the community

  • Arranging and taking part in activities

  • Managing, updating and following care plans

  • The home is based in Coalville


Pay Details:


  • £29,500

  • Sleep in rate - £60



Contract Details:


  • Full-time, permanent contract

  • 38 hours a week

  • 1 on, 2 off



The successful candidate:


  • You MUST be willing to carry out personal care duties

  • You MUST be a driver as you will be required to transport the young person from time to time

  • You MUST be an empathetic and relatable person, have good listening and
    communication skills, and an instinct to help others

  • You MUST be able to commute to Coalville
