About R3 Professional Services R3's Professional Services team works to bring Corda specialist expertise to our customers to make their adoption successful. We engage directly with our customers to design, build, deploy and advise them on their Corda journey to ensure long-term capabilities are sustained. Through business consulting, technical solutions and implementation, we help customers achieve their goals most effectively for their business, owning projects ranging from small design POCs to full-end to end implementations. You can expect to work with Central Bank customers who are among the first major economies in the world to launch Central Bank Digital Currencies (CDBC) live in production, as well as large financial institutions, FMIs, Commercial banks and corporations looking to launch their private digital currency.Our customer-centric and innovative approach to providing services and solutions in the industry allows us to strategically assess our customer's needs and ensure they are set up for success from the beginning of their journey. In addition to working directly with our customers, we strive to collaborate internally with our sales, engineering, and product organisations to provide better tooling, services, and products based on our customers' evolving needs. Role of PS Technical Program Manager This role's overall mandate is three-fold: first, take on full accountability and management of multiple workstreams and stakeholder engagement for high-profile, complex PS programmes of work. Second, you will monitor and manage programme risks, issues, and dependencies and proactively identify and implement mitigation strategies. Lastly, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing programme timelines and resources, and ensuring successful delivery. Your expertise in blockchain technology, financial systems, and programme management will be crucial in driving the success of R3’s transformation program(s).

Key Accountabilities:

Ownership of R3’s high-profile customer accounts from PS leadership, providing visibility and championing the accounts, ensuring the project follows the appropriate project management methodology and balancing agile software development processes to deliver projects successfully. Ensure all assigned projects are fully managed, taking accountability for delivery, scope, cost projections and monitoring (including technical and people), resourcing, and ensuring successful implementation with the PS technical team leads and senior leadership team within PS. Management of stakeholders, internal and external, ensuring everyone has clear visibility of any risks, escalations, and significant milestones and progress of projects. Working with the mantra of good work equals more work, constantly looking to provide world-class customer service, and continuously looking at ways to improve. Work with the wider R3 Revenue and PS team to upsell client engagements where appropriate.

Project Management Responsibilities:

Accountable for the delivery of a high-profile project or program of work, working with the client(s) and broader teams to take full ownership of the Programme of work. Collaboratively working with project managers to manage the overall program budget and costs. Providing governance and stakeholder management, being the point of contact for all escalations and providing clear visibility to client and internal stakeholders on the progress of work. Responsible for scope and has the ability to initiate change control in the project. Work collaboratively with SMEs within R3, leveraging expertise in R3 technical, legal & regulatory and sector specialists and be an ambassador for your client within R3. Manage stakeholders' expectations with strong proactive communication developing deep, trusted partnerships with clients and identifying areas for further collaboration. Own and deliver key program management artefacts such as program plans, raid logs and status reports. Deliver weekly status reports and time tracking, ensuring transparent updates and management of overall delivery health internally and to stakeholders. Continuously and proactively improve the R3 internal program level artefacts, creating re-usable templates and toolsets where possible.

Competencies:

Demonstrated experience in transformational programs involving multiple institutions Stakeholder management at multiple levels, ranging from leading technical discussions to managing senior VP level conversations. Proven track record of managing large enterprise projects with multiple workstreams, typically within complex organisation. Proven experience leading pre and post-sales client project progress, success, and upsell discussions. High level of proficiency in managing customer relationships (business and technical levels). Be well-versed in implementing cloud-native multi-service products in financial services. Understanding of DLT / Blockchain technologies beneficial, including Corda or EVM-based solutions. Be well versed in software architecture, including cloud-native designs and development with Java or Kotlin programming experience. Able to steer and forward plan technical design workshops as needed.
