We are working closely alongside a LocalAuthority in Swindon to assist withthe appointment of a Commercial PropertyManager on a6monthcontract highly likely to be extended at clientsdiscretion. Please apply with your CV for immediateconsideration.

Rate ofPay: 30.00 37.81 per Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Identify lead and deliver opportunities tomaximise the effectiveness and efficiency of income generation fromthe Councils nonoperational (commercial) property portfolioincluding the identification and disposal of surplus orunderperforming assets.
  • Ensurenonoperational (commercial) property assets totalling 850commercial interests achieve the rental target set for each year(c7m in 201920) and identify opportunities for new acquisitions toincrease in this income.
  • Negotiatethe leasing and renewal of leases and negotiating rent reviews ofretail commercial and industrial property including (wherenecessary) preparation and presentation of the Councils case in theevent of dispute for determination by arbitration or expert or theCourts.
  • Management of residential(excluding Council housing) retail commercial and industrial landand property and in particular the management of district and localretail centres.
  • Examine the weekly list ofplanning applications submitted to identify those that impact on oraffect the Councils land and property.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience inestate management
  • Significant experience inestate/property management with emphasis on agreements for use ofproperty and property contract relatedissues
  • Leadership knowledge and experience inmanaging change and implementing new ideas
