As our Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young girls, providing them with a safe and supportive learning environment.

Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for safeguarding and child protection issues.
  • Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to promote a safe environment.
  • Lead on all aspects of safeguarding, including training and policy development.
  • Ensure all safeguarding records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of safeguarding practices.
  • Provide support and guidance to students and staff on safeguarding matters.

Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
