Job summary

Job description

Job responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual and group therapy interventions tailored to the needs of patients. Develop and deliver personalised treatment plans that promote independence and well-being. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and support staff. Contribute to discharge planning, ensuring continuity of care and effective transition back to the community. Provide education and support to patients and their families, helping them understand and manage their conditions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with professional standards and regulatory requirements. Person Specification

Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications/Experience

Essential

A degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council HCPC Previous experience in mental health settings, preferable but not essential Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate patients. A proactive approach to continuous professional development and willingness to participate in supervision and training. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
