The construction project management team comprises a professional and passionate group of engineers and construction management professionals supporting our clients deliver their renewable energy projects on time, on budget and to the highest quality and safety standards. We operate in a cooperative, supportive and open manner and support all staff in developing to their full potential. We operate in a variety of geographies, but principally the UK, Ireland and the Nordic/Baltic countries.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Undertake pre-planning, pre-construction and construction phase services in connection with UK and wider European and global renewable developments, providing advice to all parts of the business. Interacting proactively with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to manage complex and challenging renewable energy projects. Contract management and interpretation on key project contracts, including balance of plant, turbine supply and EPC style agreements. Prepare and submit various documentation including but not limited to: Tenders.Technical documentation.Contract preparation and management; and planning condition discharging. Work with key stakeholders (client, planning authorities, statutory environmental authorities, local communities, utilities, highway authorities etc.) in delivering construction management services. Administration relating to the projects including management of project budgets, risk registers and action plans. Ad hoc assessments and tasks associated with project management as directed by the project team involved. Identify and assist in undertaking business development activities for the purpose of successfully growing and developing the project management services within the team. Undertake the continual management of all direct reports from an HR perspective, including on-going personal development reviews. Coach and mentor staff as appropriate to improve performance. Resource management of sub-teams set up as part of the construction management team setup. When requested, attend departmental and senior management meetings to inform and update the senior management group on business and strategic points relating to the project management team performance. Assist the department project managers and assistant project managers with their projects and be a key point of support and escalation for clients. Proactively manage all issues affecting cash-flow, namely prompt time / expenses recording for line managed and secondary staff, issuance of invoices and minimisation of debtor days.
