The Ad Solutions team at PubMatic is focused on advertisers needs and making programmatic the best advertising channel for them to use. The Client Services Partner Team (CSP) is a fundamental part of the Ad Solutions team and is focused on growing agency and advertiser relationships by delivering best-in-class customer service.
The Client Services Team Lead is responsible for building out the strategy alongside EMEA leadership to drive best in class customer service via optimisations and account management to our Buyers.
The team lead will manage a team of CSP’s across EMEA and align on various tasks including campaign optimisation, reporting, general account management, program implementation and managing to agreed SLA’s and expectations for new and existing clients. This role will manage in market and remote teams and be expected to liaise with their regional counterparts in North America and APAC.
The relevant person enjoys networking at industry functions, staying current on the latest programmatic trends, and proactively seeking out knowledge specific to the inner-workings of PubMatic’s technology. The role requires an ability to think creatively and collaborate with others in executing long-term, complex processes that deliver efficiency and effectiveness for our customers and the PubMatic business.
Responsibilities:
This position will require frequent and meaningful interaction across peers in other offices/ functions and PubMatic’s senior leadership team. To be a leader in this environment will require the ability to quickly connect the dots between all functions and possess a deep understanding of PubMatic’s technology, service offerings, and capabilities.
Define and execute EMEA CSP Team strategy across the region, motivating and driving success across the team
Partner with sales teams both internal and external to drive business goals and help our clients exceed their KPIs. This includes:
Dealing with troubleshooting and reporting
Optimization best practices
Deliver CSP revenue targets (set and measured quarterly)
Proactively provide strategic recommendations to existing clients to help upsell/drive incremental revenue growth for PubMatic
Have a strong understanding of PubMatic’s tech along with media solutions/products and use this knowledge to demonstrate PubMatic value to clients
Be a trusted point of contact for client and internal asks and ensure responses are handled in a timely manner
Instil a culture of collaboration and accountability
Ensure efficiencies - Develop and/or improve internal processes, maximise automation as much as possible, etc.
Qualifications
8-10 years applicable experience in leading either Planning, Trading, Account Management, Client Services, Sales or Business Development teams in the AdTech industry. Relevant experience would be gained by working at Agencies - trading, planning, ad ops, SSPs, ad exchanges, DSPs etc.
Exposure to and familiarity with Programmatic eco-system and industry at large
Experience managing remote teams
Knowledge of programmatic buying and selling including: pricing models, optimization tactics, audience trends and buying technologies
Growth mindset: willing to take risks, ask questions, and even appear foolish in order to learn; not focused on status or authority
Solution leadership: able to shape the roadmap of features requested by clients and lead discussion in relationship with our Product Management and R&D team
Understand the dynamics of the sell-side, most notably operations of supply side platforms and ad serving technology
Clear communicator and service-oriented leader
Ability to present effectively to C-level executives and confidently navigate challenges
Ultra-high EQ & high level of self awareness
Proficiency in Excel with a proven ability to convey data and analysis to drive business and strong problem solving skills
Experience with tools such as Looker, Tableau, PowerBI
English speaking plus fluency in either French, Spanish or German an advantage
